Adam, a teenage artist navigating life after an alien takeover, finds himself and his budding love interest Chloe working in the tourism industry, livestreaming their courtship for the entertainment of the Vuvv, a wealthy and hyper-intelligent alien species. As the situation takes a turn for the worse, Adam and his mother must navigate a nightmarish alien bureaucracy. This film, directed and written by Cory Finley, features a standout performance by Asante Blackk and is based on the novel by National Book Award winner M.T. Anderson, blending comedic elements with a poignant exploration of class and commerce.
